What Are Cookies?

Cookies — and similar browser storage such as localStorage — are small pieces of data saved on your device so a website can remember you between visits and page loads.

How JobPaglu Uses Them

• Essential: your access and refresh tokens keep you signed in and let the extension talk to your account. Without these the service cannot work.
• Preference: your light/dark theme choice and sidebar state are stored locally so the app looks the same next time you open it.
• Analytics (consent-gated): we use PostHog to record aggregate usage data — which features are used and where the product breaks. It does not run until you accept it in the cookie banner, and it may set its own cookies or browser storage under its own defaults once you do.

Your Choice

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject analytics cookies — essential cookies always run regardless, since the service can't work without them. You can change your mind at any time: manage cookie preferences.

What We Don't Use

We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with ad networks.

The Browser Extension

The JobPaglu extension stores your auth token in the browser's own extension storage so it can apply on your behalf. It reads the job pages you open during an auto-apply session and nothing else — it does not track your general browsing.

Managing Cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential ones will sign you out and stop auto-apply from working. Signing out of JobPaglu clears the stored tokens immediately.
